Deep in the Scottish Highlands is a place whose majestic

wilderness is The Balnagown Estate, the ancestral home of
the Clan Ross, and one of the few surviving testaments to
the glorious history of the Highlands.
The Balnagown Estate is an amalgamation of three ancient
estates and now stretches over an area of some of the most
untouched natural beauty in Europe. The scenery on the Estate
is, without exception, magnificent, spanning heather-covered
valleys, world-class salmon fishing at Inveroykel, the breathtaking
Highland wilderness in Sutherland, as well as the grandeur
of Balnagown itself.
he natural beauty of the Estate encourages the outdoor life
and we have some of the finest shooting, fishing and stalking
in the British Isles. We also provide for a wide range of
further activities; from sedate, secluded walks and bicycle
rides to more exertive pursuits such as archery, and all set
against a background of true natural splendour
