Duchally Lodge

Duchally Lodge is a wonderfully serene and remote retreat set in the magnificent Glen Cassley. Along with its unique stalking opportunities, Duchally Lodge offers guests a rare level of privacy and solitude. Indeed the only other people living close by are the estate’s stalker and the housekeeper who occupy an adjoining property to the lodge - a perfect arrangement as they will entirely respect your privacy, whilst still be on hand to offer help and advice on any aspect of your stay.
  • Sleeps 8 with 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms
  • Situated in the heart of the estate’s best Red and Sika Deer stalking grounds
  • A stunning, expansive environment in a remote setting
  • Adjacent to the stalker’s cottage
  • The village shop in nearby Rosehall can fulfill orders placed in advance
  • 12 miles from Rosehall village with the Achness Hotel which has a bar and serves meals
  • 54 miles from Inverness Airport (allow 1.5 hours as last part on single track road).
  • Dogs are welcome

The lodge retains all the charm of its former incarnation as a shepherd’s house, but has been transformed into a warm and inviting haven. The cosy living room has an open fire, whilst the informal dining room is a wonderful space to enjoy talking about the day’s activities.

Sleeping up to eight in comfort, Duchally Lodge has two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, featuring antique and period furnishings complete with luxurious fabrics and wallpapers. All bedrooms benefit from the finest duvets, pillows, blankets and linens, whilst bathrooms benefit from super-luxe heavyweight towels and the finest toiletries. Broadband and Sky satellite TV are also available in the property.

Housekeeping services are available by prior arrangement, with the estate’s stalker also on hand to ensure every aspect of your stay is superb.

Dogs are welcome at the lodge.

A final note about Duchally Lodge: For those wanting to stay in a central point for deer stalking, fishing, and to enjoy a remote, quiet and peaceful setting with stunning views and with a wealth of nature close by, Duchally Lodge is ideal. However and despite the fact the property is cosy and very well furnished, its remote location and lack of very local facilities is not for everyone.
