Stalking

Deer stalking, both Red Deer and Sika Deer, takes place on both the Invercassley and Duchally Estates. There is no stalking at Balnagown Estate.

The stalking we offer at Invercassley and Duchally is some of the most exceptional in Scotland and we are very careful to limit the impact of our deer management, with any participation conducted as part of an organised, targeted and sustainable cull. The estate stalkers are the perfect and expert hosts, with a full and detailed knowledge of the rugged terrain and deer. They will be your trusted guides, and no matter what your ability levels they will ensure you have an unforgettable experience.

A possible Macnab

Not every highland estate can offer the possibility of a Macnab – a salmon caught on the fly, a stag and a brace of grouse – but at Invercassley and Duchally we can. Of course we can’t guarantee it, but if anyone can help make it happen our head stalker can.

The stalking season is as follows:

1st July to 20th October for Stags
21st October to 15th February for Hinds

Guide by estate:

Balnagown
