The
River Shin is one of the great salmon rivers in Scotland with perfect
conditions for the Atlantic Salmon returning to spawn. In June 2002,
The Balnagown Estate purchased the visitor centre, and it is now
regarded as one of the best viewing platforms in Britain to witness
the dramatic natural wonder of salmon leaping as they return upstream.
