We rather like dogs at Balnagown Estates, and that’s why we have some of the best dog friendly cottages in Scotland. In fact so keen are we to attract dog owners to our Highland estates, that we even have some luxury properties with heated kennels! Our properties allow dogs into the main house, or an adjoining coach house, or have kennels right next to the house and are provided with dog beds, bowls and their very own towels.

Here’s a quick summary of our dog friendly cottages and what we have organised:

Gardener’s Cottage – A maximum of two dogs are welcome, kennels are also provided in the cottage grounds

Grieve’s Cottage – A maximum of two dogs are welcome, kennels are also provided in the cottage grounds

Hill House – Dogs are welcome within the house, facilities are also in the adjoining Coach House

Peat Cottage  – Due to the size of this property dogs are not permitted within Peat Cottage.

Swiss Cottage  – Due to the upside down layout of this property dogs are not permitted within the Swiss Cottage.

The Cartshed  – A maximum of two dogs are welcome

The Farmhouse – dogs are allowed in the house and dog beds can be provided, or kennels can be pr

Inveroykel Lodge – dogs are allowed in the lodge and dog beds can be provided

And one thing you won’t be short of and whichever of our estates you choose to stay at, is places to walk your canine companion or companions. In fact you’ll be spoilt for choice, with all the properties having almost endless possibilities for walks starting right outside the cottage.
