At Balnagown Estates we provide the perfect Scottish cottages for a holiday, with a choice of 8 properties to choose from. Our cottages and lodges are all of the highest quality, with the standards of décor and furnishing being some of the highest found in any holiday properties in the Scottish Highlands. Indeed six of our cottages and lodges are rated as 5 star by the Scottish Tourist Board, with the other four all being a highly commendable 4 star.

The facilities within most of our properties include broadband and Sky TV – you can check on the individual property pages for the full specification for each, including of course how many guests they sleep.

For the five properties at Balnagown Estate itself, outside we offer archery, fishing, cycling (we have plenty of bikes on site which are free to use), clay pigeon shooting, plus a superb sports and games hall which is free to use – perfect if the weather isn’t great or for evenings in the months with less daylight hours.

For the three Scottish cottages and lodges for holidays on our two more northerly estates of Duchally and Invercassley, they represent an interesting mix for our guests who are after a real Highland location and who also have a love for the outdoors. A summary of each property…

• Inveroykel Lodge is a grand and imposing property which enjoys stunning views over Strath Oykel and the hills beyond. It sleeps up to 10, is very luxurious, and outside of the salmon fishing season (in those weeks it’s normally fully booked) is popular with large family or other groups looking for a special place to stay for a special event.

• Tigh na Rhos sleeps up to 7 and because it’s relatively close to Inveroykel Lodge, can be booked for even larger groups which are then spread between the two properties. It’s a very attractive bungalow and also enjoys views across Strath Oykel.
