Stay with us

Feel Restored & Refreshed at Inveroykel.

Accessed by a private road, you find yourself surrounded by the majesty of mature woodland and the serenity of vast landscapes. It’s all yours to enjoy.

Breathe in the fresh, lichen-heavy air as you explore the woodlands with friends. You soon feel restored and refreshed. Discover our famous Inveroykel Pool, a unique opportunity to experience a taste of world-class salmon fishing.

There’s so much here to call you back again and again. The elegant furnishings and feeling of space and grandeur transport you to the slower pace of a bygone era. Traditional pursuits and good company are all the ingredients you need for a memorable time you’ll never forget…and can’t wait to repeat.

The Lodge provides an excellent base to explore the Northern Highlands…

Inveroykel Lodge is around an hour’s drive northwest from the core estate in Ross-shire, into Sutherland and the heart of the highlands. It is 10 miles away from the nearest Petrol Station in Lairg.

At a central location just 24 miles from the west coast and 23 miles from the east coast, Inveroykel is an ideal location for exploring the incredible contrasts of the Highlands. For the brave-hearted and fit it is just a 30-minute drive to the base of Ben More Assynt, the highest of the mountains in the Assynt range and a Munro.

Inveroykel Lodge is relatively remote. Reassuringly for some, it is only five miles from the tiny village of Rosehall, where you’ll find a tearoom and small shop that provides basic supplies. If you decide to take out the stress of making meals during your stay the tearoom will be delighted to provide catering for guests. In addition the estate is also happy to put guests in contact with local cooks and chefs.

Over many years staying at the Inveroykel Lodge the magic and comfort of the lodge and the Oykel Strath increases. The lodge is the best place I know for a friendly holiday with dear friends…
